An e-mail petition to make Sarah Palin feel better for not being elected VP

Michelle Malkin has organized an online petition to give to Sarah Palin thanking her for running for the VP. Those of you who like Palin, feel free to sign. Those of you who don’t, feel free to leave nasty comments in the comment section of the petition (or here):

Hi,
I’ve written you a snail mail letter of encouragement. Non Illigitimi carborundum.

Governor Sarah Palin,
You and Senator McCain acepted a challenge, responsibility and scrutiny that few of us would undertake. My continued support and best wishes to your future endeavours.

Thank you Governor Palin for trying to rescue John McCain’s campaign.
You have my admiration and support for your election in 2012. We need people with true conservative values to represent us.
Also, why would this website encourage “Those of you who don’t, feel free to leave nasty comments in the comment section of the petition”. It seems that is the liberal way to do things nowadays. If you don’t agree with someone, try to make fun of them. If you have nothing good to say, why sign a petition that is intended as a thank you note?
GO SARAH!!!!!!!!

Sarah – thank you for being you and thank you for saying yes when asked to serve. I look forward to following you in the future, and you leading the Conservative Coalition within the GOP. I stand ready to assist you in any and every way possible.
November 6th, 2008 17:04
Sarah, you are an amazing woman. We love in NY. Please run in 2012. We need you. As a mother of a special needs child I am counting on you for reform for children with disabilities. You inspired us all. God Bless you and your wonderful family.

Sarah – Privileged to see you in Carson, CA. at a rally. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air and a stand-up gal. Best wishes to you and your family. Go for the presidency next time! You have my vote.
November 6th, 2008 17:41
Sarah, you woke up conservatives every where and let us know we are not alone.
Few could have stood up to the media bias, liberal attacks and rigged interviews and the attacks on your family as you did.
Bear in mind, many of these so-called attacks may have more to do with liberal sabotage than actual McCain camp critiques. It is hard to believe any McCain camp member would actually believe you did anything, but energize the party.
Me and my family got behind McCain because of YOU.
Best wishes to you in your future!

Good riddens to bad rubbish! Watching the faithful fans of Sarah Palin has been an education for me. I don’t think I realized how far the fundamentalist right would go to support a candidate who shares their anti-choice, anti-gay, intolerant values. Her supporters were willing to risk the future of this country and the world and pretend it was only a liberal media plot that exposed her obvious lack of intelligence, knowledge, or preparation for the possibility of stepping into the most demanding job on the planet. Governor Palin exposed herself, her own ambition and greed, and her willingness to use her children as talking points. There aren’t, thank God (and he’s not yours to own) enough of you to win her national office in the future.
November 6th, 2008 18:31
Dear Sarah-
You are in obvious need of a HUGE dose of self realization. You aren’t bright, don’t know squat, and aren’t qualified to manage a McDonald’s much less the mightiest nation in the world. Please be happy with the fact that your ambition has already carried you to a position way beyond your abilities, and leave the rest of the nation alone.
Sincerely, LFC

Few could have stood up to the media bias, liberal attacks and rigged interviews and the attacks on your family as you did.
Rigged interviews with tough “gotcha media” questions like:
And when it comes to establishing your worldview, I was curious, what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read before you were tapped for this to stay informed and to understand the world?
Shorter Palin: All of them.
“Damn you, Katie Couric!”
November 6th, 2008 19:19
Dear Gov. Sarah Palin,
You have my support and you did great. I am sorry that you could’t be more your self after the first speech. Everything was so controlling and I think some of your advisors weren’t fear with you and steel now they are throwing big pails of mud and pointing fingers at you. God knows why McCain-Palin ticket didn’t win. By the way, Catie Curic and Tina fay made them self a name at your expenses, you should have some of snl money. God Bless you and takecare of your self and your family.
November 6th, 2008 19:20
Dear Sarah,
Thank you for running for vice president. I am an Obama supporter and when McCain chose you for VP I became very worried. You seemed like an attractive outsider who might solidify the religious, right-wing base of the Republican party and even gain a few votes from moderate women who had supported Hillary Clinton. It also seemed possible that Democrats in the blogosphere (though not Senator Obama) might hurt themselves in the campaign by being mean about your lack of experience and qualifications and your family problems. I went out of the country for a few weeks and when I came back, McCain was actually leading in the polls. I was very worried. Then I saw your Katie Couric interviews and began to feel much better. I knew that Obama would win, partly because of you, and everything would be all right. McCain had made a big mistake in choosing you, but if you had turned him down because you knew you weren’t qualified, he might have chosen a person like Huckabee who was also an outsider and a religious conservative but was able to articulate ideas in a way that might persuade people who disagreed with him. So thanks for accepting the nomination. I hope you run for president in 2012.

There is no purpose to leave rude remarks and I am embarrassed for these people. Gov. Palin was asked to serve and she solidified and energized Sen. McCain’s campaign. Thank you, and I also hope you run again and lead us out of the depression that this next administration will create. I’m a proud convert to the GOP.
November 6th, 2008 19:53
Thank you and john for giving of your self to run for office. We would love to have it turn out different.Still thank you for all you did and will keep on doing for your country. You were a bright spot for all real americans.Lets hope..
November 6th, 2008 19:57
cpabooks,
I hope you don’t think I was rude. I was trying to be polite. By the way, the depression, if President Obama can’t head it off next year when he begins trying to reverse the current administration’s failures, will not be created by his administration. Your new party gets all the credit.

sandra w,
This “all real americans” thing is beginning to get a little annoying. I am a real American and Sarah Palin was not a bright spot for me.

Dear Gov. Palin,
Not only are you an amazing woman, but an inspiration too! You really energized the McCain campaign and us conservatives. Don’t listen to hateful people with their nasty comments. You are more qualified than Obama and Biden put together to run this Country. I and some 55 million voters who voted for you knew it. I commend you for all your hard work and I thank you! You intimidated the left so much that they still can’t stop making up lies about you. I guess they are still intimidated by you and more interested in you than their big “win”. Go figure. If I understood them then I’d be as blind as they are. I’m sure after higher taxes, increased welfare, socialized medicine and weaker military, they’ll eat their words and WISH they had voted for you.
I hope you consider running in 2012. I have a feeling it will be different (better) for you then. My family and I would vote for you without hesitation.
Thank you again and please thank your lovely family as all of you are truly ’shining examples’ as to how we should conduct ourselves.
May God keep you and yours in His tender loving care always,
Susie

bobh – glad you were out of the country – now why don’t you stay there! Why would you come on this Sarah Palin petition and be rude – oh……I forgot – that is what all you liberals are – you can accept someone being different and thinking different from you – my way or the highway. Got an old saying – be careful what you wish for, you may get it. I am just going to love sharing your wealth!
November 6th, 2008 20:55
Sarah – I wouldn’t have voted for McCain if you weren’t on the ticket. So, I’m glad you were aboard and look forward to 2012. Even today – 2 days after the election – the MSM and Democrats are still trying to tear you down – you really scare the hell out of them.
November 6th, 2008 21:03
Susie C.,
You understand, don’t you, that the e-mail petition to Governor Palin is being created at another website, a blog run by a vicious right wing person named Michelle Malkin, who among other nasty things has expressed her approval of the internment of Japanese-American citizens during World War II. The posts addressed to Sarah P at this site, including mine and yours, are just comments at this blog and will probably never be read by her. (I’m not lying)
Oh, and I am not intimidated by Sarah. I am amazed by the fact that she was nominated for vice-president by a major party, as I am by the idea that someone thinks she is more qualified than President-elect Obama. Please do work to get her the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. I will like that.

I just want you to know I was heart broken when Mr. Obama beat John. I LOVEEEEEEE YOU!! You were just what this country needed, Fresh, REAL, honest, kind, caring, AWESOME!!! I so hoped you and John would have won, but just know that almost half the country DID vote for you two!!!! That SAYS A LOT!!! Good luck in your future. Oh and I have 6 sisters and one of them lives in Wasilla!!! She loves you too!!! You go girl!!!
Thanksssss for all your hard work!!!
November 7th, 2008 02:08
Isn’t interesting that the Sarah supporters are so stupid that they don’t realize that this site is a spoof. Wow, how dumb are they anyway. Oh Well just goes to show you that one doesn’t need to know a damn thing to be a Republican candidate for Vice President . Takes more to work at McDonalds so I guess that most of these folks here are either unemployed or are greeters at Walmart. What a country.
November 7th, 2008 03:32
I am happy to get our Governor back! If others don’t appreciate her – they don’t deserve her!!!!!!! Ha,ha Katie we got the last laugh!!
November 7th, 2008 11:00
I want you to know that you were a breath of fresh air that as a true conservative was looking for in politics. The attacts on you now are from cowards that do not want you to come back later. They are afraid of you and the fact that a lot of us out here relate to you. I was beginning to believe that there was no one in politics with no character at all. The Republican party needs a total overhaul. They do not speak for the majority of us out here and is why they continue to fail. They are not listening to the people and I think they do not care. I loved listening to you speak and hope that this bad behavior will not discourage you. God Bless you and keep the faith because God will give you strength in the days ahead. May God be with you and your family.

bobh,

Sarah Palin. Like a rock … only dumber.
November 7th, 2008 17:54
Sarah, I think you are a very special person. I am sorry that you did not become our new VP. I was impressed with your intelligence and I hope that you will consider running for President in 2012. May God bless you and your wonderful family. I think God has wonderful things planned for you in the future.
November 7th, 2008 19:56
Sarah, the loss of the election does not fall on your OR Senator McCain. Of course, there are thngs that could’ve been differently. But it was Barack Obama’s dishonesty in going against his word in the campaign finance agreement, his acceptance of any and all donations, regardless of their origin. It was the media’s complete bias and blatant ‘worship’ of the great deceiver. Michelle Obama should know that many of us, for the first time in our adult lives, are NOT proud of America. For many Americans, there is no value in virtue, honesty, integrity, character, decency, faith, age, experience, wisdom, transparency. So they did did not vote for those qualities.
Instead, the majority of Americans voted for fraud, dishonesty, secretiveness, lies, deception. If this is what America wants, they now have it. YOU are not those things. John McCain is not those things. But you delight the heart of God, and an audience of one is all that really matters. America’s loss, though. And I mourn this political decision like I’ve mourned no other. God bless and keep you and your wonderful family!
November 7th, 2008 21:27

IF I HAVE TO I WILL MOVE TO AK. AND VOTE YOU MYSELF.

Dear Sarah,
You breathed fresh air into our campaign for John McCain and were a wonderful Vice Presidential candidate. You and your whole family were wonderful and I appreciate so much the sacrifice you made. I wish you God’s blessings for your future. I admire you tremendously. Thank you!
November 9th, 2008 00:48
Governor Palin and Devoted family:
I admire your strength of character, honesty and sensibility. Thank you for the sacrifice you made on behalf of our country. You were indeed the epitome of grace under fire. We salute you. I assure you Governor, you and yours, remain in prayers, and rosary devotions from sea to sea….and I have every confidence those prayers are not divided amongst your fellow Americans but multiplied by over 59 million +!! We have just begun the battle dear lady….I want to see you back on track before my end days arrive. So you stay strong and I shall also, because we all have alot of work ahead. If your up to the task, we are too! Americans never give up! Your message to America was right on target and gave the American voters a voice for the first time in several years. You are the “what you see is what you get’ gal! You confounded the media and others in Washington because they don’t understand truth, common sense and plain speak. My most sincere apppreciation to your husband and children, they touched the heart of America. Prayers for your military son and your precious Trig. You and Todd were so gracious to share your children and yourselves with us in the lower 48. A very special thank you to your Mother and Father and extended family. As well as your staff and all the wonderful folks in the GREAT STATE OF ALASKA1
November 9th, 2008 22:08
Sarah, I have a suggestion. As you lament your “future” in 4 years, I suggest the only productive way for you to spend it is in school! You are an utter, intellectual inferior and you have noone to blame for your exposure but your ambitious self. Your attempts to breed hatred and racism in the campaign are not only discpiccable, but more importantly they are sinful (which I have no doubt you can appreciate given your misinformed opinion on Christianity). Newsflash: Jesus Christ’s most important mission was to take care of the poor, not preach on abortion! Good luck governing an unimportant detached state!
November 10th, 2008 11:22
Governor Palin:
A quick note to let you know that until you joined the McCain Campaign I had decided to not vote this time (an action I never took before over a 40-year voting life). While we don’t agree on all points, we agree on many, and I admire you for taking on the corrupt establishment, the main factor I think was reflected in the results of the election. Unfortunately, you (and many of us) have supported the party associated with years of corruption and the deregulation that has led to the mess our country is in today. No matter what was said by the 2 of you, no one was (or is) a believer that change will come from Republicans after the past 8 years. Thank you again for trying to make a difference. I hope you will return to national politics – its time for a woman of character to become a national leader, as we can’t seem to find men anymore who will be men and do what is right. I will join many in supporting the new President if he will do the right things for the country. He has a golden opportunity to right many wrongs to us middle-classers, let’s hope it happens.
March 22nd, 2009 00:51
Sarah I still support you and admire you beyond words! I want to follow you everywhere and anywhere! You are the most amazing person I have ever EVER known! For the first time in my life I have found someone that inspiresme and fills me with passion and drive! Your words I cling to, you sparked something in me I didn’t know was there and you are constantly on my mind! I wish you were our VP, but I look more forward to you being our first female president !!!! You have my total and utter support now and forever! THANK YOU for changing me and filling me full of hope and inspiration!
